The Housing Authority and The Austin Academy are collaborating to enrich the lives of HACA residents. These two organizations are offering Adult Basic Education classes, free of cost.
We offer classes to help improve the Reading and Math skillsof HACA residents. Classes are small, no more than 10 participants per teacher, in order to increase one-on-one time with our instructors.
Specialized Instruction
We know that people learn and advance differently; that’s why our classes are all self-paced. This provides our students with the opportunity to move at their own speed.
We also encourage our students to enroll in one of our other programs once the have completed the ABE program. The Austin Academy offers GED Preparation Courses, Computer Literacy and Workplace Training.
