Since 1995, The Austin Academy has been in partnership with the Austin Travis County Work Source Board. We have been a provider of ESL, Adult Literacy, GED, Computer Literacy and Workplace Competency Skills. The Austin Academy has grown from serving 50 clients in our first year to providing service and referrals to more than 850 clients this past year.
The Austin Academy has been fortunate to have been awarded major grants to support our work and has also received funding from the Texas Work Force Commission, the Housing Authority of the City of Austin, the Community Action Network of Austin/Travis County, the Austin Community Foundation, Applied Material, Dell, IBM, and the LCRA.
